The Mandeville Police Department has made arrests in a string of vehicle burglaries and thefts dating to May 13, 2017. A total of $1,020 dollars cash and approximately $3,300 dollars in property was reported to be stolen.
During the course of the investigation detectives were able to identify Luke Camp (17) of Madisonville, Ian Guthrie (17) of Mandeville, and a 16 year old male juvenile of Mandeville as the perpetrators of the vehicle burglaries and theft. Subsequent interviews with the perpetrators led to confessions and identification of where the stolen property could be recovered. All of the reported stolen property and $640 cash of the reported $1,020 cash that was reported stolen was recovered.
On May 30, 2017, all 3 subjects were charged with ten counts of simple burglary of a vehicle, one count of attempted simple burglary of a vehicle and one count of theft/misdemeanor.
