Tyler Brock Phelps
May 6, 1994 - April 2, 2017



TYLER BROCK PHELPS, AGE 22 and a resident of Bogalusa died Sunday evening April 2, 2017 at Our Lady of the Angels Medical Center. He was an avid fisherman and loved being on the Bogue Chitto River. Tyler also loved mid-80’s old Chevy trucks, riding his 4-wheeler and hunting. He enjoyed making Bar-B-Que and building camp fires. Tyler was a devoted father to his little girls and always loved taking them to play at the park.
Survived by: Wife: Adriane Rene Phelps of Franklinton; 2 Daughters: Halee Renee Phelps, Khloe Tyler Phelps; Father: Eddie Phelps of Bogalusa; Mother: Robin Varnado Phelps of Franklinton; Brother: Cody Phelps of Franklinton; Sister: Heather Chain of Magnolia, MS; Grandparents: Bernita Phelps of Bogalusa, Wava and Danny Hill of Amite; Aunts and Uncles: Niki and Wayne Hunt, Karen Phelps all of Franklinton, Wendy Neu of Amite, Jody and Nikki Varnado of Franklinton, Rusty Varnado of Houma; Nephew: C.J. Phelps of Franklinton; Mother in law and Father in law: Angela and Anthony Frasier of Franklinton; Grandparents in law: Barry and Mary Pence of Franklinton; Brother in law and Sister in law: Austin Frasier, Kandase Frasier; Also numerous other family members and friends
He was preceded in death by grandfathers Charles Phelps and Russell Varnado and an uncle Wayne Phelps.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday April 5th from 5 pm until 11 pm and after 9 am on Thursday. A funeral service will be held at 12 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Eld. Burdette Thomas, Bro. Charlie New and Bro. Thomas Graves officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill-Magee Cemetery.
