Tommy C. Odom
June 6, 1943 - April 6, 2017



TOMMY C. ODOM, AGE 73 and a resident of Pine died Thursday evening April 6, 2017 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was born in Bogalusa but spent his younger years in Arizona before becoming a longtime resident of Southern California. Tommy retired after a career with Sunkist as an equipment operator and later returned to Washington Parish. He enjoyed watching the Fair parade and attending the Washington Parish Free Fair every year. He loved to go to O’Bryant’s merchandise auctions and dirt-track car races. Tommy was the very first member of Grace Apostolic Church in Pine.
Survived by: Son and Fiancé: Darrell Odom and Kae-C Ann Clark of San Antonio, TX; 2 Brothers and Sisters in law: John and Iris Odom, Robert and Marilyn Odom all of Thomas; 2 Sisters and a Brother in law: Jo and Vincent Dillon of Thomas, Nelda Penton of Franklinton; 2 Sisters in law: Elaine Odom of Graham, TX, Jean Graves Howell of Wichita Falls, TX; Special Friends: Pat Dillon, Joel Hill, Bill McCain; Also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Graves Odom, his parents J.W. Odom and Margie Dykes Odom and a brother Homer “Pete” Odom.
Visitation will be Tuesday April 11th from 9 am until 2 pm at Grace Apostolic Church in Pine. A funeral service will be held in the church at 2 pm Tuesday with Rev. Brian Dunn, Rev. W.L. Tullos, Rev. Leon Hickman and nephew Bro. Anthony Odom officiating. Burial will follow in the Stateline United Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help cover final expenses.
