Kevin Harrison (21) was arrested last
night (March 2, 2017) after he fled from Slidell Police officers. Officer McCall
recognized Harrison, who was standing in the parking lot of the Circle K gas
station on Old Spanish Trail, as a wanted person. When officers approached him,
he fled on foot. Officer Stokes and his partner, K9 Scout, tracked Kevin
Harrison, who was ultimately apprehended by K9 Scout.
Kevin Harrison was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated for minor dog bite wounds and released.

Kevin Harrison was wanted for
several felony probation violation warrants, which stemmed from past arrests for
possession with intent to distribute both schedule 1 and schedule 4 narcotics,
illegal possession of stolen things and child desertion. In addition, Kevin
Harrison was charged with resisting an officer.
