St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s detectives arrested Ian Lacour (28) of Covington, Tuesday (March 14, 2017) evening for shoplifting (2 counts) and aggravated assault with a firearm. Lacour was booked with one shoplifting incident that occurred March 14 at the Murphy gas station on Hwy 190 in Covington. He had also been sought and was booked with a shoplifting on March 12 at the Chevron on Hwy. 190 near Three Rivers Road. In that incident, Lacour was stopped by the cashier at which time he is reported to have produced what appeared to be a firearm and fled the premises.
