Franklinton Police Investigating Shooting

On Sunday, March 26, 2017, at approximately 10pm, Franklinton Police Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Howard and Solomon Streets following a call from an off-duty dispatcher, who reported hearing multiple gunshots. Officers initially located evidence in support of a shooting and began the investigative process. A short time later, officers were notified that an individual, identified as 32 year old Jaris "Buck" Warren, was at the hospital suffering from a single gunshot wound to the leg.
Investigators are conducting interviews and have information leading to other involved parties. Anyone who may have additional information as it relates to this incident is urged to contact the Franklinton Police Department 985-839-2977.
