Keith Thomas
January 18, 1965 - February 19, 2017


HAROLD KEITH THOMAS, AGE 52 and a resident of Thomas passed away tragically on Sunday February 19, 2017. Keith was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. His smile and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and minds of many. Keith was a valued employee of Double D Meat, Inc. for over 20 years, working in several different capacities through the years. He loved hunting, fishing, farming and baseball. Keith was an avid LSU fan and enjoyed any outdoor activity. Most importantly, he cherished the time spent with his wife, children and grandbabies.
Survived by: Wife of 30 years: Sondra Darlene Mizell Thomas of Thomas; Son and Fiancé: Brandon Keith Thomas and Chelsea Tate of Thomas; Daughter and Son in law: Tiffany Darlene King and Chad King of Plainview; 2 Granddaughters: McKinlee Jane King, Ava Caroline Tate; An expected grandson in June: Maverick Keith Louis King; Mother: Mazina Ann Williams Thomas of Thomas; Brothers and Sisters in law: Richard Houston Thomas, Jr., Johnny Lee and Carolyn Thomas all of Bremen, GA.; Michael and Claire Thomas of Slidell; Special Brother in law: Joshua James Miley and his children Asher James and Alexander Drake; Sister in law and Brother in law, his Best Friend: Sonja and Donnie Wells; Father in law: William L. Mizell of Enon; Mother in law: Brenda J. Magee Miley of Bogalusa; Also numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews that loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father Richard Houston Thomas, Sr.
Visitation will be at First Pentecostal Church of Bogalusa (14532 Hwy. 21 South, Bogalusa) on Wednesday February 22nd from 5 pm until 9 pm and after 10 am on Thursday. A funeral service will be held in the church at 1 pm Thursday with Rev. Travis Houston and Rev. Caleb Duane Herring officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Cemetery.
