Entergy Donates $500 to the Washington Men’s Club in Bogalusa

The WMC’s motto is to “mentor, educate, nurture, and serve.”   Some of the ways it lives by its motto is by sponsoring youth trips to museums, defraying costs for students to participate in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) Program, the NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) Program, and the Bogalusa YMCA (Young Men’s Christian Association); purchasing athletic camp equipment, and supporting faith-based Youth initiatives.  The WMC also assisted with renovations to the Cassidy Park after the August flood of 2016; donated to the Anonymous Closet (Students in Need), Robert Hicks Foundation, Washington Parish Democratic Executive Committee, I.D.E.A., LLC, Professional Women’s Service Club, just to name a few.
The men of the WMC also promote and encourage male health and fitness awareness, not just by teaching healthy lifestyle habits, but also by committing to walk three times a week at Cassidy Park.
“It’s these kinds of organizations that Entergy is proud to have within and around its service territory,” says Eunice Harris, Entergy Customer Service Representative for the Northshore.
