The Mandeville Police Department is currently investigating the theft of a rare $1 United States Silver Certificate bearing serial number 000000. The certificate was stolen from Basics Fine Lingerie, located at 1281 N. Causeway Blvd. Mandeville, LA. The victim last observed the certificate on October 20, 2016.
The certificate was packaged in a Paper Money Guaranty holder with a label bearing certification number 1606400-017 on the front and certification number 1606401-001 on the back.
