Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal will host his annual Senior Thanksgiving Luncheons at two locations this year. Each luncheon will begin at 11:00 a.m. and conclude at 1:30 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided and there is no charge for the meal.
The east side luncheon will be Tuesday, November 15, at the American Legion Home on Highway 10 east in Bogalusa.
The west side luncheon will be Thursday, November 17, at Franklinton’s First Baptist Church located at 950 Self Street.
Sheriff Seal encourages all senior citizens to attend. “We are reminded in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to give thanks in all things. It is my privilege to furnish this annual meal for our senior citizens and I look forward to joining you on this very special occasion as we give thanks for the many blessings we enjoy as citizens of our beautiful parish.”
