Dorothy "Dot" M. Hayden McDaniel

January 05, 1937 - October 16, 2020

For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure is come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith: II Timothy 4:6-7

Dorothy "Dot" M. Hayden McDaniel, a resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born January 5, 1937 in Louisville, KY and was 83 years of age. 

She is survived by 3 daughters, Paula M. Cutrer and husband, Richard, Dera H. Hughes and husband, Mark, and Johnette L. Doty and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Stacy Haase and husband, Timmy, Jamie Clark and wife, Christine, Kamie Harper and husband, Caleb, Kevin Cutrer and wife, Michelle, Ricky Cutrer and wife, Jeanie, Daniel Hughes and wife, Laura, Elizabeth Cash and husband, Shane, Kelly S. Payne, Ricky Simmons and wife, Stacie, Jeremy Simmons and wife, Kelly, Andrew Doty and wife Brittany, and Jeremy Doty; great grandchildren, Bethany Dunn and husband, Caleb, Emiley, Lexi, Mason, Ella, Sammy, Hannah, Caleb , Nathan, Tessa, Avelyn, Nadya, Iyla, Logan, Seth, Blaine, Andrew, Zack, Madalynne, Hannah Kay, Hayden, Christopher, Lauren, Madison, Bailey, Brody, Emma, Leah, Ezra, and Abram; great-great-granddaughter, Alyse; great granddaughter and great-great grandson on the way; brother, Joseph M. Mayfield Jr. and wife, Doris; special sister, Mary Mayfield; numerous nieces and nephews she dearly cherished. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph M. Mayfield Sr. and Mary Aikens Mayfield; brothers, Robert, Roy and Raymond; sisters, Margaret, Edith, and Edna; niece, Donna Jean. 

Graveside Services will be held at Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood, LA at 11:00AM Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Services conducted by Pastor Kevin Dunn. 

McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, in charge of arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers make donations to Eagle Heights Community Church Children’s ministry Tickfaw, LA.
