Gregory Don Davis

May 2, 1959 - October 5, 2020

Gregory Don Davis, age 61 and a resident of Franklinton, died Monday October 5, 2020 at St. Tammany Hospital. Greg was a long-time mechanic for The Town of Franklinton. He also worked for the Washington Parish Co-Op and RutterRex in Tylertown, Ms. Greg enjoyed spending time fishing and rabbit hunting. He also loved watching rodeos as his son is a Bull Fighter.

Survived by: Wife of 37 years: Carolyn Creel Davis of Franklinton; Sons: Dustin Dewitt Davis, Justin Scott Davis and fiancé Kayla Gorrell all of Franklinton; Granddaughter: Ashleighn; Sister: Thelma Smith; Mother in law: Geneva Jones Creel; Brothers in law and Sisters in law: Billy Wayne Creel and Joyce Creel, Michael Wayne Creel, Jerry Wayne Creel, Pearline Barber, Wilda Faye Lavigne, Jackie Erwin; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Davis and Anita Rushing Davis, 2 infant brothers and father in law Marvin Leroy Creel.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday October 8th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charles Ray Creel, Rev. Don Miley and Rev. Jimmy Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill-Magee Cemetery.
