Two More Arrests Announced in Roseland Trail Ride Shooting

Today (September 15, 2020), the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is pleased to report the arrest of 19-year-old Raheem Harold of Roseland. Harold was wanted by the TPSO on charges of one count of Second Degree Murder and two counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder.

These charges were the result of the homicide that claimed the life of 21-year-old Zion Hutcherson of Baton Rouge, LA.  Zion tragically lost her life on August 8, 2020,  while attending a trail ride in Roseland.

On September 6, 2020, Harold was taken into custody in Billings, Montana by the Billings Police Department.  He will be extradited back to Louisiana at a later date, then booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail.

Additionally, Raven Warford, age 27 and of Natalbany, turned herself into authorities on September 8, 2020.  Warford was subsequently booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on one count of Orders of the Governor, One Count of Negligent Homicide and two counts of Negligent Injuring.

These latest two arrests bring the total to six arrested in connection with the incident. TPSO reminds the public this is still an active investigation.  Anyone with information regarding the events that took place at the trail ride on August 8, 2020 in Roseland is asked to contact Crime Stoppers, 800-554-5245.   Detective Matt Dean is the lead investigator on this case.

Additional arrests may be forthcoming.
