Anita Faye Magee Brumfield

Missionary Anita Faye Magee Brumfield was born March 1, 1952 to the late Mr. Ollie and Antronette Magee. She was the fifth child of fourteen.

Missionary Anita passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 at her residence in Franklinton, LA.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories two daughters, Sonya Middleton of Franklinton, LA and Trinise Brumfield of Lakewood, CA; one son, Darrian (Ebony) Brumfield of Franklinton, LA; seven grandchildren, Morgan Middleton, Marli Middleton both of Franklinton, LA, Tyler Magee of Franklinton, LA, Darrian Brumfield, Jr. of Franklinton, Dazarian J. Brumfield, Aleaja M. Brumfield both of California, Jaylon J. Simon of Las Vegas; five great grandchildren, Braylen J. Brumfield, Amilia S. Brumfield, Aminah Simon of California, Zavian Brumfield, and Zion Brumfield; four God children, Davonna Williams, Yancey James, Kevion Ginn, and LaTia Lowe; seven sisters, Katherine (Lloyd) Pickett of Carson, CA; Sarah (Cladis) Silvie; Paulette Magee, Pamela (DeVan) Williams and Marie (Marcus) Ford all of Long Beach, CA, and Consue Henderson of San Diego, CA, and Sandra Ratliff both of Franklinton, LA; four brothers, Hamilton (JoAnn) Magee, Daria Magee, Frank  (Dueoan) Magee all of Franklinton, LA and Brian (Deanna) Mingo of Folsom, LA; two aunts, Pearlean Sims and Geraldine Alford; two uncles, Larry Harvey and Harvell Harvey; her mother-in-law, Mrs. Ada M. Brumfield; sister-in-law, Anita (Clifford) Jefferson, Sr., and Chandra Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Brumfield, Jr.; her son, baby Brumfield; her parents, Ollie and Antronette Magee; three brothers, Ollie Magee, Jr., Truman Magee and Barry Magee; one sister, Jacqueline Martin; grandparents, Supt. Monroe and Pearlie Magee, Ora Magee, Dea. Pearlie and Mattie Lee Harvey.

A drive through viewing will be Friday, September 18, 2020 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Franklinton.

Funeral service on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Magee’s Temple Church of God in Christ with Supt. Cecealine Tate – Pastor Officiating. 

Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
