Mrs. Christina Green Butler departed this life at the age of 96. She was born to the late Henry Green and Emma Peters Green on March 15, 1924 in Varnado, LA. She departed this life on Monday, August 17, 2020.
She leaves to cherish her memories her grandson, Elton Butler, Jr. of Bogalusa, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Butler; father, Rev. Henry Green; Mother, Emma Green; son, Elton Butler, Sr.; brothers, Melvin Green, Rev. George Green and Willie Green; sisters, Alberta Green Galloway, Beatrice Green and Pecola Green.
A drive through viewing will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 10:00AM – 12:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.
Funeral service will be Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 2:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin Jackson – Officiating. Interment will be held at Robinson Cemetery in Varnado, LA.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
