Mary Jane Magee
June 19, 1951 - July 21, 2020



Mary Jane Magee a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away July 21, 2020 in Slidell Memorial Hospital. She was surrounded by her family and friends. She was 69 years old.

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Shelia Taylor and Janice Taylor both of Bogalusa, LA; one son, Calvin Magee of Covington, LA; one step daughter, Norma Jean of Prentiss, MS; one stepson, Isaac Magee Jr. of Prentiss, MS; one granddaughter, Kiana Taylor who was the love of her life; one son-in-law, Albert Mallett of Covington, LA; she also leaves behind three sisters, Paulina Dean, Sylvia Lewis both of Bogalusa, LA, and Betty Brock of Covington, LA; two brothers, Shelton Brumfield of Bogalusa, LA, and Larry Armstrong of Jackson, MS; three special cousins that she loved talking with Gilda (Ernest) Martin, Irma Jean Scott both of Bogalusa, LA, and Geneva Brumfield of Monticello, MS; three special friends whom she loved, Patricia Henry, Precious Tillman all of Bogalusa, LA; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Taylor and Nia Taylor both of New Orleans, LA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her biological mother, Geneva Taylor; her adopted parents, Mae Bell and Roscoe Kidd; six brothers, Leroy Taylor, Simon Taylor, “Dusty” Lewis, Vernon Brumfield, and Guy Harry Brumfield; one sister, Anunett Taylor; her husband; Isacc Magee.

A Drive Through Biewing will be from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana.
