The initial investigation led Troopers to determine that Kiff was eastbound on LA 38 in a Toyota Tacoma pickup when she began a left turn towards the private driveway of Bebo’s Casino in front of a westbound Freightliner truck. The Freightliner impacted Kiff’s vehicle and pushed it backward while rotating until it impacted a Chevrolet Silverado Pickup. Kiff was properly restrained during the crash and she sustained injuries that required her to be transported to a local area hospital. She succumbed to her injuries several hours later. Impairment is not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
