Election Results for July 11, 2020

The unofficial election results are in! With 3355 of 3934 precincts statewide reporting at press time,
Louisiana Democrats voted for Joe Biden (80%) and Republicans voted for Donald Trump (96%). Biden got 77% of the Democrat vote in Washington Parish, 77% of the Democrat vote in St. Tammany Parish, and 74% of the Democrat vote in Tangipahoa Parish. Trump got 98% of the Republican vote in Washington Parish, 95% of the Republican vote in St. Tammany Parish, and 97% of the Republican vote in Tangipahoa Parish.

Beth Wolfe defeated Rick Swartz (55% to 45%) in the race for the 1st Circuit Court of Appeal, District 3–Division D. Voting in this election were voters in St. Tammany, Washington, Tangipahoa, Livingston, St. Helena, East Feliciana and West Feliciana parishes. St. Tammany Parish voters (with 168 of 169 precincts reporting) went for Swartz (58% - 42%), Washington Parish voters went for Swartz (54% - 46%), Tangipahoa Parish Voters went for Wolfe (77% - 23%), Livingston Parish voters went for Wolfe (72% - 28%), St. Helena Parish went for Wolfe (75% to 25%), East Feliciana Parish went for Wolfe (50.2% - 49.8%) and West Feliciana Parish went for Swartz (55% - 45%).

In the City of Bogalusa, voters approved the 1/4% S&U tax re-dedication 63% to 37%.
