Mrs. Rebecca “Emmalee” Jordan Brown was born on March 2, 1937 in Bogalusa, LA. She passed away at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital on May 28, 2020.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, William Brown of Bogalusa, LA; her son, Boswell (Majorie) Jordan of Bogalusa, LA; a daughter, Tonya Jordan of New Jersey; her daughter, Sarah Sherreal (Jerrell Climeson) Jordan of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Boswell Magee, Xavier Jordan, Payton Jordan, Spencer Casnave, Aguarius Casnave, Rasheede Casnave, Destiny Jordan, Amari Jordan, Yani Jordan, Bernard King, Jr., and Shaqurry Alexander, a grand-daughter she raised as her own; five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Gladys Mitchell of Memphis, TN, Rachel Drummond (Renard) of Bogalusa, LA, and Diane (Luther) Brown of Houston, TX, Tressie (Michael) Ishman of Bogalusa, LA, brothers, Otis Henry (Vera) of New Roads, LA, Clarence (Tasha) Henry, and David Henry of Bogalusa, LA, William Henry of Slidell, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Casnave; her son, Charles Jordan; her father, Mr. Alvin Jordan; her mother, Mrs. Sarah Henry; her step-father, L. V. Henry; her sister, Dottie Williams; her brothers, Cleon, Michael, and L. T. Henry.

Services will be at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. A Drive-Through Viewing will be Monday, June 1, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
