Elizabeth Ann Tullos Gibson
January 29, 1936 - May 13, 2020



Elizabeth Ann Tullos Gibson passed away in Bogalusa, LA on May 13, 2020 at the age of 84. She was born on January 29, 1936 in Bogalusa, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Gibson; father and mother, James Howard and Eugenia Tullos of Bogalusa, LA.

She is survived by daughter, Linda Charmaine and Ronnie Brown of Bogalusa, LA; her son, Howard L. and Debbie Gibson of Broken Arrow, OK, John Vaughn and Deidra Gibson of Bogalusa, LA, and Frank and Delacia Gibson of Franklinton, LA; her grandchildren; Amber and Jason Silessi,  Amanda and Jeremy Lang, Kellie and Brent Wemprem, James Travis and Krista Gibson, John Gibson and Marilyn Gibson, Michael Gibson, Nicholas Gibson, Daniel Gibson, Joseph Gibson, Summer Gibson Still and Jacob Brandon Still, Jacob Taylor Gibson and Katie, Brandon Michael Gibson, Christopher Connor Gibson; great grandchildren, Karys Jewel Gibson, Elena Lang, Kayla Lang, Matthew Lang, Mckinley Gibson, Reilly Gibson, Parker Gibson, Francis Elizabeth Silessi, Ashlyn Brown, Austin Wemprem, Jayda Gibson, Leland Miller, Faylynn Gibson, Calian Dawn Boggan,  Jacob Brandon Still II and a daughter-in-law Shanda Gibson.

Liz was an active member of Superior Avenue Baptist Church of Bogalusa where she served on various committees and ministries including the bereavement committee of which she poured her heart into. She was very proud of her many grandchildren and great grandchildren on whom she poured her love out. She loved to take short travels and adventures with her cousin “sister” Wannette Vaughn, Joe Bickham and Jeanine Knight. She will be remembered for constant smile and love for others. Most of all she loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart.

Funeral service will be held at Springhill Magee Cemetery beginning at 11:00 a.m on Friday May 15, 2020, Rev. Clay Norwood will officiate.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Superior Avenue Baptist Church.

Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
