Hattie Mae Weary
November 26, 1939 - May 08, 2020

Mrs. Hattie Mae Weary was born November 26, 1939 to the late Margaret Knowles and March Powell in Utica, MS, and departed from her earthly home to her home in glory at the age of 80 on Friday, May 8, 200 at Slidell Memorial Hospital.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her daughter Cheryl (R.C.) Armstrong of Bogalusa, La; two grandchildren Makia Armstrong of Lumberton, MS, and Levar (Cheris) Armstrong of Dulfries, VA; three great grandchildren, Jasmine Peters, and Jaslyn Armstrong of Lumberton, MS, and Tanner Armstrong of Dulfries, VA; a God son, Kelton (Jameka) Johnson of Bogalusa, LA; a God daughter, Cassandra Johnson Krandell of Omaha, NB; two niece, Norma Jean Fields, and Linda Fields; a nephew, Sulaiman Dauda.

She was preceded in death by her parents, March Powell, and Margaret Knowles; husband, Johnny Weary; two brothers, James Fields, Sr., and Willie Jene Knowles; raised by Mary Stephaney of Bogalusa after the death of her mother Margaret.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 in Bogalusa, Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Terri Ruiz Price and Minister Anthony Price officiating.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa, LA in charge of arrangements.
