Elizabeth Chester Paige
April 20, 1942 - April 20, 2020



Elizabeth Chester Paige, age 78 and a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away on April 20, 2020, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.  She was born in Bogalusa on April 20, 1942.  Being a homemaker, Elizabeth loved taking care of her family.  She also enjoyed to crochet and spending time tending to her flowers.  She enjoyed reading books and her favorite song was “You are My Sunshine” which she sang to her granddaughters, whom she loved dearly, all the time.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband Howard Paige; her sons Michael Paige (Kristen Sorrell), Jeff (Dale) Paige, Terry (Joanne) Paige; her granddaughters Maegan Laine Paige, Morgan Elizabeth Paige, Valerie Renee Paige; a brother Don Chester; brother and sister-in-law Marvin (Marty) Paige.

She is preceded in death by her parents Herman Cecil and Oneita Landrum Chester; a brother Vertress Chester and in-laws Mike and Laura Paige.

A graveside service will be held at Paige Cemetery, in Bogalusa, LA, on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 11:30 am.  Rev. Tommy Pittman will officiate.
