Patti Annette Harrington Burch, age 54 and a resident of Mount Hermon, died Saturday morning December 21, 2019 at her home. She was a literacy para-professional for 10 years at Mt. Hermon School. Patti worked with young children in Kindergarten through 5th grade and enjoyed helping them grow each day. She loved her co-workers and all the staff at the school. Patti enjoyed swimming and spending time on the river. She liked playing card games, working crossword puzzles and reading. Patti loved spending time with her family and adored her young granddaughter.
Survived by: Husband: Roland Burch of Mt. Hermon; Daughter: Courtney Burch of Mt. Hermon; Granddaughter: Paige Elizabeth Brooks; Sister and Brother in law: Joy and Don Cheek of Prairieville, LA; 4 Brothers and Sisters in law: Jimmy and Sandy Sharp of Franklinton, Trent and Tonya Sharp of Enon, Gary and Michelle Sharp, Keith and Michelle Sharp all of Loranger; Mother in law: Jonelle Burch of Mt. Hermon; Brother in law and Sisters in law: David and Rebecca Burch of Franklinton, Denise Vinson of Mt. Hermon; Also numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Patrick Harrington, mother and step-father Joyce Crawford Sharp and Andrew Sharp, father in law Gerald A. Burch, brother in law Wayne Burch.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Monday December 30th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Monday with Rev. Calvin Crowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Bogue Chitto Baptist Church Cemetery.
