Benjy Nell Brock, age 74 and a resident of Franklinton, died Monday evening November 18, 2019 at her home. She was a graduate of Franklinton High School and later received her Bachelor’s Degree. Benjy Nell worked in accounting for an oil company in Lafayette, and worked in New Orleans before returning home to Franklinton. She also obtained her real estate license and worked in that field as well. Benjy Nell was a member of First Baptist Church in Franklinton. She suffered from Multiple Sclerosis since the age of 45 which greatly diminished her mobility, forcing her to retire from the careers she had.

4 Grandchildren and Spouses: Brittany and Joe Smith, Brian and Amber Jenkins all of Franklinton, Lauren and Jason Vincent of Houston, Dakota Jenkins of Franklinton; 4 Great-grandchildren: Brylie Smith, Ava Robins, Kennor Robins, Gracie Ann Nelson; Special Friend: Judy Simmons
She was preceded in death by her son Barrett Kevin Jenkins, first husband Sidney Olan Jenkins, Jr., and her parents Willard Brock and Bennola Spring Brock.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
