J. C. McDonald, age 91 and a residence of Bogalusa, La, departed this life on November 15, 2019. He was born on February 4, 1928 to Shannon McDonald and Willie Mae Giddins in Bogalusa, Louisiana.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Allean Plunkett McDonald; two daughters, Hazel Mclean of Las Vegas, NV. and Brenda Blalock of Lake Charles, Louisiana; one sister, Debra Ann Tabb of Niagara Falls, New York; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shannon McDonald and Willie Mae Giddins, two sons, Larry James McDonald and J. C. McDonald, Jr.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am at Sweet Beulah Baptist Church, 1408 N. Roosevelt Street, Bogalusa, Louisiana with Rev. James Magee, Pastor officiating. Interment – Bogalusa, LA.
