Mary Elizabeth Schulz Barber, departed this life on Friday, October 4, 2019, at her home in Bogalusa, LA., at the age of 80. She was a native of Evansville, IN., and a long time resident of Bogalusa, LA. She was a proud Military wife and enjoyed making a home for her family at various duty stations. She was a compassionate CAN and home health aide until her retirement.
Mary is survived by three daughters, Becky Blaylock, Barbara and her husband Kenny Blackwell, and Julie and her husband Butch Beets. Additionally, she leaves behind seven grandchildren Terri, Michael and Lisa Blackwell, Brandy Young, Bethany Beets, Barry and Bill Blaylock, and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers Don Gene and Bill Schulz and their families.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Glen Barber. Parents Joseph and Rose Mary Schulz. Her son William Kersch. And one brother Robert Schulz.
Services will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Visitation will be October 8, 2019 from 10 AM until the Funeral Service at 3 PM. Interment will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa.
