Johnny Tyrell "Relly" Harvey
March 05, 1984 - August 30, 2019



Johnny Tyrell Harvey, affectionately known to us as “Relly”, was born to Johnny and Henrietta Harvey on March 15, 1984 at Bogalusa Medical Center in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He departed this life on Friday, August 30, 2019.

Johnny attended Mt. Hermon Schools and later attended Job Corps.

Johnny loved walking and drinking Coco-Cola drinks. He was often a handy man throughout his community. Everyone looked out for him and cared for him. He was loved by everyone and he also expressed his love for everyone. He expressed his appreciation by being humble and obedient.

Johnny leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Johnny and Henrietta Harvey; one sister, Antonia Harvey; and one niece, Alaysia Vaugh; his uncles and aunts, Oliver (Ethel) Magee, Jerry (Amy) Fox, Michael Fox, and Timothy Smith, Sr. all of Mt. Hermon, Royann Fox of Bogalusa, LA, and Darrick (Frankie) Fox of Hammond, LA. Sandra (Allan) Burkhalter and Linda Fox both of Mt. Hermon, LA, Lora (Michael) Burton of Franklinton, LA, Teresa Smith of Slidell, LA, Jerrydean (Jerry) Richard of Bogalusa, LA, Virgina Nell (Samuel, Sr.) Issac of New Orleans, LA; great aunts and uncles, Minister L. M. James, Mr. Walter (Maime Lee) Magee, Ms. Nancy Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Johnny “Relly” was preceeded in death by his grandparents, Mr. Arthur and Mrs. Mary Smith, Mr. Oliver and Joelee Fox.

Visitation Friday, September 6 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Franklinton.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 7 at 11:00 AM at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 28040 Mt. Olive Rd, Mt Hermon, Louisiana, Rev. Kenneth C. Soulsberry, Sr. - Officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Olive Church Cemetery.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Franklinton in charge of arrangements.
