Obituary

Donald A "Duck" Hawk
December 8, 1961 - June 8, 2019


Donald A. “Duck” Hawk age 57, passed away on June 8, 2019 at CMMC in Lewiston, Maine. He worked at Versco Paper Mill in Jay ,Maine as a shipping operator “D-Crew”. 

He is survived by a daughter Amber Starnes (Chad) of Bogalusa La. Brothers Billy Hawk (Kim) of Bogalusa La, Ray and Annettte Hawk of Varnado La and Curtis Hawk of Colorado. Two sisters Gail Leonick (Gerald) of Metairie, La, Nute (Shane) Hathorne of Bogalusa, La. Brother from another mother Rick Howatt (Michelle) of Canton Maine. Three grandchildren, Cameron, Carlie, Domynick, One of his few true loves, Karen Starns of Bogalusa La. Host of uncles, aunts, nieces ,nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by a daughter Tanya Lynn Hawk, parents Walter William “Toby” Hathorne and his mother Dimples Hathorne Bowden.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral Home, 610 Ave F. Bogalusa La on Sunday June 16, 2019 from 10 a.m. until time for service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery.
