Jeannie Spears O'Brien
December 8, 1946 - January 6, 2019



Jeannie Spears O'Brien, age 72 and a longtime resident of Franklin County, Mississippi died early Sunday morning January 6, 2019 at her home. She was born December 8, 1946 in Washington Parish and later was a graduate of Franklinton High School. Jeannie worked as a book-keeper for Lott and Sons, Inc. in Bogalusa for several years. She was a longtime member of Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church. Jeannie enjoyed reading and loved music and singing. Through the years, she had helped her husband compose many songs. Jeannie was always a loving wife and mother that adored her children and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survived by: Husband of 50 years: Frank A. O’Brien of Franklin County, MS; Daughter: Faith Ashley O’Brien of Denham Springs, LA; Son: Frank Aaron O’Brien of Franklin County; Sister and Brother in law: Violonia and Bruce Edwards of the Warnerton Community, LA; Brother: Earl Spears of Franklinton, LA; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents T.C. and Ida Mae Spears and a brother D.C. Spears.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton, LA) on Tuesday January 8th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 10:00 am on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Wednesday with Rev. Jerry Cox and Rev. Aaron Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the McNeese Family Cemetery near Franklinton.
