Lucy Lane Hartzog Branch, a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA at the age of 70. She was born on January 16, 1948 in Bogalusa, LA.
She is survived by a daughter, Jessica Branch (Justin) Messina of Franklinton, LA; a son, Bryan (Kristy) Branch of Ragley, LA; five grandchildren, Victoria Branch, Elizabeth Branch, Madysin Branch, Mason Branch, and Jenkins Messina; and a great-grandchild, Natalie Keating. Also, survived by numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Buford Hartzog and Rosa Lee Stogner Hartzog; three sisters, Lois Hartzog Morecock, Jo Ann Hartzog Gilley, and Jimmie Rose Hartzog Langenhennig.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Scott Breland officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
