Gregory Lavell Crain passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, LA at the age of 55. He was born in Bogalusa, LA on November 25, 1962. He loved cars and was a very proud grandfather of eleven lovable grandchildren.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include the love of his life, Sedean Crain of Bogalusa, LA; his father, Lavell Crain of Bogalusa, LA; his mother, Winifred (Joseph) Johnson of Bogalusa, LA; two daughters, Kristen Crain of New Orleans, LA and April (Scott) Palermo of Belle Chasse, LA; three stepchildren, Kassie Benoit, Aaron (Peggy) Mizell, and Krystal Mizell of Bogalusa, LA; stepmother, Sylvia Toney of Bogalusa, LA; two sisters, Cecilia (Ed) Blackwell and Sharon (James) Creel of Bogalusa, LA; one step sister, Cheryl (Alan) Puckett of Bogalusa; one step brother, Tim (Michelle) Johnson of Pine, LA. He is also survived by loving friends, numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa, LA from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home with funeral service beginning at 11:00 A.M. Graveside service to follow at Ponemah Cemetery. Rev. Eric Williams will officiate.
