Rose Crain Caves
November 7, 1950 - August 14, 2018



Rosalie "Rose" Crain Caves, age 67 and a resident of Carriere, Mississippi, died early Tuesday morning August 14, 2018 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was a native and former longtime resident of Washington Parish. Rose was a member of the custodial staff at Wal-Mart of Covington as well as the district offices for 17 years. She loved being a part of her Wal-Mart family and enjoyed visiting with her many co-workers and friends. Rose always cherished the time spent with her family and grandchildren.
Survived by: Son and Daughter in law: Jewell and Connie Caves of Carriere, MS; 3 Grandchildren and a Spouse: Cody Magee, Trent and Tiffany Magee, Lilianna Caves; 2 Great-grandchildren: Kaleb Magee, Madison Magee; 3 Sisters and a Brother in law: Verdell and Charles Brumfield, Louvenia Jenkins, Hazel Temples; 2 Brothers and a Sister in law: Lewell and Monica Crain, John Crain; Sister in law: Phyliss Crain; Also numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her son Shane Caves, daughter Melissa Ann Caves Magee, parents Wilbur Crain and Rosetta Stafford Crain, sister Virginia Baker, brother Willie J. Crain and an infant sister Ruby Gale Crain.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday August 16th from 10 am until 12 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12 pm Thursday with Eld. Glynn Erwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Crain’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
