Buddy Magee passed away at his residence in Pine, on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the age of 65. He was born in Bogalusa, LA on December 3, 1952.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Beverly “Suzie” Magee; one son, Patrick Penton of Franklinton, LA; two daughters, Tonya (Kyle) Magee Keaton of Franklinton, LA and Madison Penton of Franklinton, LA; three grandchildren, Sophia Keaton, McCauley Keaton, and Mason Keaton all of Franklinton, LA; one brother, Jay (Jennifer) Magee of Moss Point, MS; four sisters, Esther (Ronald) Pittman of Bogalusa, LA, Mary (Gerald) Keaton of Bogalusa, LA, Mae (Vernon) Knight of Angie, LA, and Vickie Penton of Bogalusa, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and host of friends.
He is preceded by his parents, Oricie and Dorothy Magee and one son, Little Buddy Magee.
A visitation will be held in the chapel at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa, LA on Tuesday evening, July 10, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. His visitation will continue on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. and continue until time of funeral service at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Marcus Rosa will officiate. Interment to follow at Pounds-Pool Cemetery.
