Louis B. Causey
September 22, 1958 - June 09, 2018



Mr. Louis Benjamin Causey was born September 22, 1958 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ado (Alberta) Causey, Sr. in Bogalusa, LA. He was the eight of ten children. He departed this life on Saturday, June 9, 2018.
In his early childhood he attended St. John Temple under the leadership of Bishop J.W. White. He had a passion for cars, motorcycle’s, racing and drawing. Louis had a charismatic personality and big heart for children. The kids loved him and he loved the kids. He enjoyed spending time with his brother Zachary, also known as “The Duke Boys”; they had a bond that could not be broken. He looked forward to their morning trips to Hardee’s to spend time with friends. Louis was very reliable, and easy going. He was someone you could call upon for anything at anytime and he would be there without hesitation.
His memories will forever live in the heart of his loving, devoted wife, Shandra “Gutter Girl” Causey. Shandra meant everything to Louis. They shared many ears of happiness, love, and friendship. Later marrying on March 30, 1996. The love they shared was uncompilable.
He will leave an everlasting mark in the hearts of his wife, Shandra Causey, three sons, Charles (Dera) Franklin of Baton Rouge, LA, Steven Todd Franklin of Temple, TX and Darren Deshawn Williams of Bogalusa, LA; three grandchildren, La’Kysha Cotton of Bogalusa, Perry Collins of Bay St. Louis, MS, Steven Franklin, Jr. of Moody, TX; two great grandchildren, Kylah Dillon and Kylee Alexander both of Bogalusa, LA; four sisters, Clara Jones of New Orleans, LA, Frankie (Larry) Moses of Bogalusa, LA, Barbara Causey of Arlington, TX, and Debra (Darrin) Dixon of Bogalusa, LA; three brothers, Ado (Valine) Causey, Jr., Zachary (Savrina) Causey all of Bogalusa, LA, Bruce Causey of Baton Rouge, LA; one brother-in-law, Ernest Lewis, Sr. of Mt. Morris, Michigan. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ado (Alberta) Causey, Sr.; two sisters, Beatrice Lewis and Melvin Dixon; two nieces, Lisa and Torie Moses. 
Visitation will be Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 2pm to 6pm at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa. A Funeral Services is set for Friday, June 15, 2018 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home.
