"Donnie" Donald Edward Simonson was a devoted spouse, loving father and son. He gained his wings on Saturday, April 28, 2018.
He is survived by his fiancé, Brittany D'Shay Pier; daughter, Madelyn Rose Simonson; and a very special niece/step daughter, Alayna Faith Pier, all of Central; his mother, Melissa A. Worley of Pine Grove; his father and stepmother, "Buddy" Jerry L. Worley Jr. and wife Diane Worley of Canton, Miss.; future father- and mother-in-law, Ray and Melissa Rabalais of Central; two half-brothers, Zack and Skyler Worley, both of Tupelo, Miss.; nephew, Caleb Worley; nieces, Alayna and Jayda Worley, all of Greensburg, Chloe Pier of Albany, and Diana and Tess Pier of Central.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry L. Worley III; and paternal grandparents, Donald E. and Fannie L. Simonson.
Visitation will be held Friday May 4, 2018, at Brown McGehee Funeral Home located at 610 Ave F. Bogalusa La, at 10 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Grantham Cemetery located at 80863 Hwy 41 in Bush La. Pallbearers will be Buddy Thomas Jr., Charles Simonson, James McGruff, Garrett Pier, Lance Pier, and Charles Camp. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alayna and Caleb Worley
