Amy Jo Crowe Smith
November 24, 1953 - May 1, 2018



Amy Jo Crowe Smith, age 64 and a resident of Franklinton, died early Tuesday morning May 1, 2018 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.
She was a longtime employee of Ace Hardware in Franklinton where she enjoyed visiting with the customers she met each day. Amy Jo loved her “Ace Family” and enjoyed spending time with her co-workers. She liked working in her garden and enjoyed riding horses. Amy Jo was a very good barrel racer earlier in life. She liked to fish, spending time in the outdoors and enjoyed deer hunting. She was very proud of the large mounted deer she had taken many years ago. Amy Jo also enjoyed watching the cooking channel and liked to make the new exciting dishes for her family.
Survived by: Husband: K. Wayne Smith of Franklinton; Daughter: Shannon Holliday of Mt. Hermon;  Granddaughter and Spouse: Brittany and Drew Milton of Walker; 2 Great-grandchildren: Braylen Milton,
Avery Milton; Sister: Rosebeth Crowe of Hammond; 2 Brothers and Sisters in law: Lamar and Linda Crowe of Gulfport, MS, Tim “Herman” and Patty Crowe of Franklinton; Special Niece: Terry Michelle Crowe; Also numerous other nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents Modez Crowe and Ernestine Foil Crowe and a brother William Terry Crowe.
Amy Jo will be laid to rest alongside other family members in a private ceremony at a later date.
