Operation 3 Hots and a Cot Nabs 13

The Tangipahoa Parish Jail welcomed 13 new offenders on March 1, 2018 as the result of Operation - 3 Hots and a Cot, a joint undercover operation that included TPSO, the DEA, and Hammond PD. The operation targeted Turner Lane in Hammond, an area that has been the center of numerous complaints of illegal drug activity and the scene of many violent crimes
Following an investigation during the last several week, sureveillance, and undercover controlled purchases of illegal narcotics, officers executed a search warrant on all property, persons, and vehicles. 
Several individuals began to flee on foot and one attempted to run over a detective with her vehicle. Numerous arrests were made on various charges, including narcotics violations and outstanding warrants. The search produced a large quantity of high grade marijuana, over $5,000.00 of cash, drug paraphernalia, prescription pain pills, and firearms. Persons arriving to purchase illegal narcotics were actually served by the “blue crew” that night.
Arrested were Christina Porter (37), Leon Maryland (43), Lavell Stanley (54), Dylan Arrington (17), Troy Brown (36), Yleska Selders (37), Quintesha Moore (28), Jerome Jacobs (54), Morgan Foster (25), David Dillon (30), Sara Knight (25), Jamarcus Marshall (23), and Tommie Anderson (33).
