Patrick "Pat" Dillon
November 21, 1969 - March 12, 2018



Patrick “Pat” Dillon, age 48 and a resident of Hackley, died at the University Hospital in New Orleans on Monday, March 12, 2018.
He was born November 21, 1969 in Franklinton, Louisiana the son of the late Mary Arline Fortenberry Toney and James M. Dillon who survives. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents: Ott and Eleanor Dillon and Aaron and Willine Fortenberry.
He was the owner/operator of Hackley Hot Rods and Restoration and enjoyed building hotrods and restoring classic and antique automobiles. Pat was a cowboy and enjoyed riding, roping, and working with cattle. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and attending antique auctions. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, Pat is survived by his wife, Lee Rowell Dillon. Five sons: Cory Dillon, Dalton Duncan, Trent (Brittneii) Thomas, Kevin (Chastin) Hudson, and Justin Stafford. Three daughters: Taylor Dillon, Faith Dillon, and Demi Duncan. One brother, Andy (Melissa) Dillon, One sister, Michelle (Jason) Allen. Parents-in-law: Sandy and Kevin Piper and Jimmy and Nancy Rowell. Grandchildren: Camrun Dillon, Emilie Duncan, Eden Duncan, Juliett Stafford, Brennan Stafford, Elias Hudson, Brylie Hudson, and Alaric Hudson. Two more on the way. Numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and other family members.
Pallbearers will be: C.J. Kass, Leroy Martin, Keith Manning, Dustin Broussard, Ryan Brussard, and Zack Brussard. Honorary pallbearers will be: Dalton Duncan, Trent Thomas, Kevin Hudson, Wayne Duncan, Jason Allen, Jacob Schobey, William Sumrall, and Trey Craft.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Tylertown Baptist Church. The Reverends Jerry Wayne Dillon, Bud Gibbs, and Travis Houston will officiate. Burial will be in the Oral Cemetery with Hartman-Hughes Capps Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 5 till 9 P.M. at Tylertown Baptist Church and on Friday from 10 A.M. until service time there at 11.
