Joyce Stringer Alford

Joyce Stringer Alford, age 88 and a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa.
She is survived by four daughters, Brenda Breland Hill (Lerue) of Petal, MS, Dolores Alford Jenkins (Carl) of Germantown, TN, Joan Alford Jenkins of Collierville, TN, and Patricia Alford Stockwell of Lakeland, TN; a son, Keith Edward Alford (Karen) of Loranger, LA; and a sister, Elcyle Kennedy of Bogalusa, LA.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Stringer and Effie Crain Stringer; her brothers and sisters, Johnny Stringer, Otis Stringer, Gladys Branch, and Claudine Fortenberry.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Graveside Services will be held immediately following at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
