Carolyn Ann McCain
October 3, 1943 - January 15, 2018

Carolyn Ann McCain, born in Bogalusa and age 74, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2018 at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Mrs. McCain was a member of Carson Springs Baptist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and going to ballgames to cheer on her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Daniel Wilkerson  Adams and Jane Coon Adams Hill, her husband J. Q. McCain; sisters Edith Adams, Alda Lee Adams Bennett, Alice Adams Scroggs, Dorothy Adams Bush, Thelma Adams Young, Hazel Adams, Betty Sue Adams Brumfield, Lucy Kuylen, and Ola Hobgood; and brothers Otis Adams, Ocie Adams, Earl Adams, Ray Adams, Lavelle Adams, and Willie Adams.
Survivors include her sons Michael McCain (Melissa), Terry McCain (Sherri), and Mark McCain (Stephanie); brothers Clyde Adams (Sue) and Danny Adams (Cindy); brother-in-law Fred Kuylen, Jr.; grandchildren Lauren Holden (Logan), Jason Griffith (Patricia), Josh Hilbun (Kristen), Karsen McCain, Bailey McCain, Bethany McCain, Cooper McCain, and Easton McCain; great-grandchildren Amelia Holden, Adalynn Griffith, Jamie and Kasey, Avery Hilbun, Aria Hilbun, Adelynn Hilbun, and Autumn Hilbun; and a host of nephews and nieces.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Ann McCain, 74, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from the chapel of Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home with Revs. Archie Herrin and Carl Dickens officiating. Burial will be in the Carson Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Griffith, Corey McCain, Richard Brumfield, Joe Moore, Derrick McLaurin, and Logan Holden.
Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Hawks, Larry Hobgood, and Dewayne McCain.
Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 5 – 8 P.M. and on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 12 Noon until service time there at 2 P.M.
Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home of Tylertown, Mississippi in charge of arrangements.
