Ronald W Rushing

Ronald W. Rushing, age 48 and a resident of Osyka, passed away January 17, 2018 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. 
Visitation will be Thursday January 25, 2018 from 10:00 AM until services at 2:00 PM at Magnolia United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Osyka cemetery.  Rev. Phil Gerber will officiate.  Hartman Jones Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.
Mr. Rushing was born May 1, 1969 to Newie Rushing and Susan Atkinson Rushing.  He attended Osyka Baptist Church as a child and was of the Baptist faith.  He loved to listen to music and spent time on social media on the computer.  He also, enjoyed fishing and was an avid Leonard Skynyrd fan.
He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents; H.C and Lena Rushing and Oliver and Evelyn Atkinson, a uncle; Sonny Rushing.
He is survived by his mother; Susan Rushing of Osyka, a daughter and son-in-law; Jennifer Adams and Steven of Amite, LA, a brother and sister-in-law; Mark Rushing and Kristi of Magnolia, five nephews; Dalton Wall, Kevin Rushing, Justin Rushing, Brayden Rushing and M. J. Rushing, aunt and uncle, Elsie and Jimmie Hammers, uncles; Bill Atkinson and Randy Rushing, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be:  Steven Adams, Dalton Wall, Kevin Rushing, Justin Rushing, Cole Brewer, Brad Miller, Jimmy Ray Phelps and Dwayne Hill.
Honorary pallbearers will be:  M.J. Rushing, Brayden Rushing, Brian Mullins and Mark Rushing.
