Obituary

Marilyn Alleno
May 7, 1940 - November 14, 2017



Marilyn Alleno passed away at  the age of 77 at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. She was born May 7, 1940 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Alexis and Daisy Kerner Pizani. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son Bryan Alleno; granddaughter Jennifer Billott; great-granddaughter Anabella Alleno; sisters Gloria Boudreaux, and Cecilia “Sis” Mayfield; and brother Huey Pizani.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Franklinton, and a LPN. She had worked at several different nursing homes and hospitals including Kentwood Manor. Mrs. Alleno enjoyed being outdoors and working in the yard, gardening, and “handling” the animals. She also enjoyed, working needlepoint, crocheting, reading, cooking and canning vegetables from their garden.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Etienne “Ace” J. Alleno, Jr.; children Bonnie Duncan, Byran Alleno, Sr., and Balinda Alleno; brother Malvin Pizani; sister Alberta Danos; seven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 1 P.M. until service time there at 3 P.M.
