Sherilyn Harry Peters
September 01, 1951 - October 30, 2017

Sherilyn Harry Peters, age 66 and a native of Angie, died October 30, 2017.
Sherilyn was born on September 1, 1951 to the late DeLois an Gertrude Harry Robinson in Angie, LA.
Sherilyn accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Live Oak Baptist Church in Angie, LA. Later in life she joined Christway Ministries of Bogalusa, LA. under the leadership of Pastor Micheal O’Ree.
Sherilyn graduated class of 1970 Angie High School. She worked as a caregiver for many years. Sherilyn was known for her expert cooking skills and love of plants.
She leaves to cherish her two loving sons, Derrick (Dione) Peters of Angie, LA, Typolia (Tina) Peters Sr. of Bogalusa, LA; her brothers, James (Gwen) Dillion, and Reginald (Deidre) Robinson both of New Orleans, LA, DeLois Harry, and Morris L. Jefferson both of Angie, LA, Dionell (Allison) Young of Alexandrea, LA; her sisters, Denise (Beven) Robinson of Angie, LA, Demetris (Lorenzo) Rayford of Franklinton, LA; two special aunts, Pauline Torrence of Bogalusa, LA, and Earnestine Davis of Angie, LA; her sister- in- law, Mechelle Sartin Robinson of Bogalusa, LA; her grandchildren, Shannisha, JaDerrica, Derrick Jr., MaKaya, Everette, Typolia Jr., Sharday, and Malik, all of Bogalusa, LA; great grandchildren Anyla Shorter, Jai’lyn and Jai’dyn Owens and Nicholas and NaShira Winston of Bogalusa, LA; and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, DeLois and Gertrude Harry Robinson; and three brothers, Jerome Robinson, Haven Lewis, and Danny Robinson.
Sherilyn will be sadly missed by the many people lives, she touched on her journey.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 10:00AM -12:00PM at Live Oak united Methodist Church in Angie, La, Followed by funeral service at 12:00 PM with Pastor Micheal O'Ree Officiating and Rev. Terrance August Pastor Officiating. Interment Live Oak Cemetery. Crain and Sons Funeral Home - Bogalusa are in charge of arrangements.
