Jamie Lee "Red" Adcox
February 27, 1998 - September 30, 2017



JAMIE LEE “RED” ADCOX, age 19 and a resident of Pine, went to his Heavenly home in the early morning hours of Saturday September 30, 2017. He was a 2016 graduate of Pine High School where he was a five year member of the Pine Raider baseball team and he was voted Mr. P.H.S. during his senior year. Jamie worked with the bridge construction crew of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and attended Crain’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Jamie loved hunting, fishing, playing softball and spending time with his family and friends. He will always be known and remembered for his kind loving nature, outgoing personality and infectious sense of humor. Jamie would tell ya’ll “I Got This”
Survived by: Parents: Woody and Dee Dee Adcox of Pine; Brother: Nicholas Adcox of Pine; Sister and Brother in law: Callie Adcox Moore and Jordan Moore of Pine; Nephew: Madden Moore; Grandparents: Elton Miley, Brenda Diane Foster May both of Pine; Also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by grandfather Walter Butch Adcox, grandmother Joyce Thomas Miley and uncle Chad Miley.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday October 4th from 5 pm until 10 pm and after 10 am on Thursday. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Eld. Clyde Cooper, Eld. Edward Penton and Eld. Doyle Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the Crain’s Creek Baptist Missionary Church Cemetery.
