Patricia "Pat" Graves
January 17, 1947 - September 30, 2017

PATRICIA ANN RESTER GRAVES, age 70 and a resident of Franklinton died Saturday afternoon September 30, 2017 at Tulane Medical Center. She was a 1965 graduate of Franklinton High School and later worked as a seamstress at Rutter Rex for over 20 years. Pat was a member of Oral Missionary Baptist Church who loved to read and do word search puzzles. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and different card games. When she was more able, Pat always loved cooking for and spending quality time with her family.
Survived by: 2 Sons and Daughters in law: Doug and Stephanie Graves, Scott and Dianna Graves all of Franklinton; Daughter and Son in law: Tammy and Patrick Dykes of Franklinton; 7 Grandchildren and Spouses: Lacey and Colby Adams, Jarred and Amanda Graves, Jenna Graves, Colton Graves, Austin Graves, Taylor Graves, Harley Dykes; 4 Great-grandchildren: Lawsen Reid Graves, Benton Jeffery Graves, Raylee Penton, Maxsten Lee Graves; 2 Sisters and Brothers in law: Carolyn and J.W. Payne of Thomas, Pam and William Paige of Bush; Brother and Sister in law: Lavon and Beverly Rester of Mississippi; Brothers in law and Sisters in law: Eld. J.W. and Marcel Graves of Franklinton, Billy and Aline Graves of Pine, Mable and Roy Beall of Denham Springs, Wanzie Adams of Brewton, AL; Also numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years Denman Graves and her parents Frank Rester and Dorothy Creel Rester.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday October 3rd from 9 am until 11 am. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Poplarhead Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
