John Wyatt Daniel, age 17 and a resident of Kentwood, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017.
He is survived by his mom, Karen K. Daniel; dad, Howard “Woody” Daniel; sisters and brothers in law; Shayna and Chance Hayden, Sherrie and Jered Gilliland and Brittany and Trenton Strickland; brother from another mother, Jeremiah Thompson; grandparents, Peggy Crawford, John and Tammy Daniel,  Tom and Joan Dominick and Elaine Daniel; nieces, Astrid Strickland and Harper Gilliland; nephew, Easton Strickland; aunts and uncles, Kenneth J. Crawford, Jr. and wife, Cherie, Cyndie Crawford Fussell and husband, Ken, Lance Daniel and wife, Kelly, and Carson Howard Daniel; very special uncle, Forrest Sibley; cousins, Kenneth J. Crawford, III, and Kim, Celia and Adam Wortham and their son, Shelly and Michael Mortiz and their daughters, Ryan Scott and Meghan Fussell, and Trevor and Landry Daniel.
Preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Crawford, Sr.; great grandparents, Winfred and Pearl Travis and Marvin “Pop” and Louise “Granny Lou” Daniel.
Visitation at Pine Ridge United Methodist Church from 5 PM on Thursday until religious services at 11 AM on Friday, October 6, 2017. Services conducted by Rev. Larry Blades. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the S.T.O.P.S. (St. Tammany Outreach for the Prevention of Suicide, 427 North Theard St., Private Mailbox 500, Covington, LA 70433. McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, in charge of arrangements.
