JOHN EVERETT BUSBY, AGE 52 and a resident of Franklinton died early Wednesday morning August 2, 2017 at Riverside Medical Center. He was a longtime truck driver for Dairymen, Inc. and Rocco Trucking and a member of Bogue Chitto Heights Baptist Church. John liked to fish and was a talented mechanic that could work on just about anything. He adored his young grandson and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survived by: 3 Sons: John Derek Busby, Dylan Ty Busby, Nicholas Rocky Busby all of Franklinton; Grandson: John Ethan Busby; Brother and Sister in law: Bill and Gvorja Busby of Franklinton; 3 Sisters and Brothers in law: Beth Newman, Barbara and Pete Williams, Sheila and Lenard Smith all of Franklinton; Also numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents Bill Busby and Emma Gates Busby and brother in law Gary Newman.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday August 3rd from 10 am until 2 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Pete Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill-Magee Cemetery.
