Carol Youngblood
October 1, 1933 - February 15, 2017
Carole B. Youngblood, born October 1, 1933 in
Chattanooga, TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at her
home in Bogalusa, LA. She was a loving caregiver of children in Onalaska, TX
before moving to Bogalusa, LA.
She is survived by her son, Steve (Mary)
Goodner of Chattanooga, TN; and daughter, Lisa Winegeart of Bogalusa, LA; one
sister, Joan (Ben) Hurt of Murfreesboro, TN; and a dear friend, Carol Loke of
Onalaska, TX; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
She is
preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Dorothy Bettis; a daughter. Yvonne
Crocker; two sisters, Jackie Spears and Patsy Wallace; a brother, Alfred Bettis;
and a grandson, Brian Davidson.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie
Funeral Home on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.
Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday,
February 19, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will begin at
2:00 P.M. with Rev. Clay Norwood officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview
Memorial Gardens.
