Natalie Rose Muse Hatteberg

May 3, 1965 - May 12, 2025

Natalie Rose Muse Hatteberg, age 60 and a resident of Franklinton, passed away early Monday morning May 12, 2025 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was born in Opelousas on May 3, 1965 and was a former longtime resident of Krotz Springs. Natalie and her family have lived in Washington Parish for the last 30 years. She was retired after driving a school bus for the Franklinton area schools for 17 years. Natalie loved serving the children and enjoyed getting to know them, and watching them grow through the years. She enjoyed traveling with her family and together they had been to Orlando for Disney World and Universal many times. Natalie also enjoyed reading and fishing. She was a loving wife and mother that cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and family.

Survived by: Husband of 31 years: Brady Hatteberg; 2 Daughters and Sons in law: Jennifer Elise Fitzgerald and Edward Fuselier, Megan Celeste Hatteberg Rochester and Clinton Rochester; Son: Brandon Cole Hatteberg; Grandchildren: Zoe Rochester, Zayden Rochester and an expected granddaughter Ruth Elizabeth Fuselier, whom Natalie was excited to meet; 2 Sisters and a Brother in law: Suzette Williams, Annette Muse Anguiano and Richard Anguiano; Brothers and Sisters in law: Terry and Leah Muse, Lee and Margaret Muse; Sisters in law and Brothers in law: Debra Muse, Mark Pereira, Eric and Peggy Hatteberg, Mary Ellen and Keith Keller; Also numerous nieces, nephews and their families

She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth Muse, Sr. and Mary Helen Leblanc Muse, sister Pamela Pereira, brother Kenneth Ray Muse, Jr., father in law and mother in law Alfred “Al” and Annie Hatteberg and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton, LA) on Friday May 16th from 8:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Friday with Rev. Donal Chance officiating. Burial will follow in the Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
