Shirley Leming Freeman

Shirley Leming Freeman, age 70, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Franklinton, LA. She was born in Bogalusa, LA on April 8, 1947 to Johnnie Leming and Hazel Alsobrooks Cooper.
She is survived by her son, Chad E. (Amanda) Freeman of Bogalusa, LA; five grandchildren, Shallom Freeman, Chaston B. Freeman, Morgan Freeman all of Bogalusa, LA, Brennan Freeman, and Ryan Freeman both of Bush, LA.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dewitt Roy Freeman; a daughter, Titiana McClendon; a son, Kevin D. Freeman; her father, Johnnie Leming; her mother, Hazel Alsobrooks Cooper; and her sister, Myrtle Sumrall.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from5:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Larry Lassley officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
